Titled Takaya, the first iteration of this blanket was created by Musqueam master weaver Debra Sparrow as a commission for the Tsleil-Waututh Nation. The Tsleil-Waututh people come from the Wolf Clan, and the Wolf symbol is a celebration of family, unity and strength.
